It is expected that as a member of the Nashoba JV/Prep Team you will make ALL Functions, Games, and Practices. However Due to scheduling beyond any ones control, illness, SCHOOL and other conflicts I do expect some communication prior to your excused absence. I will require email/phone regarding changes in schedules and/or attendance. Otherwise you should be prompt and at each event. Which is at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled times written on game/practice schedule. Times given on ALL Schedules and practices reflect the game start time. Be there 30 minutes prior for "Pre Game", and as to allow for equipment maintenance, skate sharpening etc..... Simply put, if you cannot make the
practice due to illness; I expect a call and/or an email from you, before,
not after..... If a time comes that you will not be able to make the game, practice for any reason; call, email myself or the 3 Captains.....NO SHOWS will loose the privilege of skating in the next game with us, and will be required to sit in the stands, or bench (with helmet etc...) in that game...... Captains are required to maintain order and discipline in the locker room, at rink and/or in transit; in my or any of the coaches brief absence. Allow enough time to be dressed for any event so as to be on the ice 10 minutes prior to game/practice. Also... We will be reviewing plays,
tactics, and some game strategy prior to games and practices This usually
will be 15-20 minutes prior to ice time... Some Helpful Info can be

Look for the Tips and Training Section..... Also we will try to keep the web fresh so you can have some picture plays in
mind prior to practice. Well see how it works. Keep in mind we are a pass, pass, pass, headman the puck, look for the open player, play at full speed, make the other team play our game a team! For those who want to do it alone. Will not pass, give only the minimal effort. You will get to know the coaching staff well, as you sit watching the game go by. Thank you for your pre-season effort to date. We will be doing a lot of hockey this year. Let's work hard at it. It is more fun to win than loose, but along the way we will learn to do it right. We have to learn to play the game as designed, it makes it more rewarding and fun.

In my opinion, you guys will go far in life, and achieve great success. I am honored to be a part of your successes, your failings, and your learning efforts in this great game of hockey; and moreover this great game of life. I hope to see you next year, 8th graders make the Varsity/HS JV Teams. You 7th graders I hope you can make it back for 2001-2002; and bring some new players into the program.....
